Our collaboration approach to Alley’s community with Verizon’s innovation challenges industry standards to create unique spaces to propel both brands further.
Alley Powered by Verizon is a joint venture to blend the community of Alley’s workplaces with the amenities to support some of the tech industry’s most innovative groups in one collaborative space. In order to keep up with the demands of technology’s dynamic evolution the workspace is able to adapt accordingly, this flexibility is present throughout the design in the form of multi-functional areas and novel construction.
Designing Co-Working is not just creating a shared work space, its building a Community.
The design adapts to ever-changing workplace culture while being injected with Alley’s own brand of community that will continually evolve with its inhabitants.
Right in the center of the workplace is the Maker Space that featuring two multifunctional sliding walls.
White boards and TVs can be positioned to accommodate different scales of meetings and workshops.
One corner of the Maker Space is a VR Lab with a 90” display to exhibit and test the newest advancements in Virtual Reality technology.

Our internal steel staircase is a shared experience, seamlessly connecting each distinctive floor and granting easy access to all amenities. Every floor boasts a unique theme that seeps into every nook and cranny, from the barber shop restroom to the cabin fever phone booth.
These spaces offer experiences far beyond the typical work environment. Even the circulation areas between offices, meeting rooms, and other elements are designed to encourage spontaneous interactions with unlikely companions.
