About the Studio:

Echo Design + Architecture (EDA) is led by British-born Ajay Chopra AIA, carrying over twenty five years in architecture. Raised during London’s booming punk subculture and having lived in New Delhi, Ajay is keenly aware of culture versus counter-culture. He uses this experience and perspective to make architecture significant in daily life.

EDA is the collection of the cultural, travel, and life experiences, and we approach each project with our unique vision. We continually use our instinct, ingenuity, and experience to challenge traditional design. This is how we provide new and novel solutions to meet and exceed our client’s needs.

When faced with budget or craft limitation, our relationship with Engineers, Contractors, and Fabricators puts us in a position to ensure projects are delivered on-time and on budget. With these insights we always find opportunities to go beyond expectations. Our studio is always researching new avenues to push our design, from art and furniture to tiny houses and hotels.
